Each piece is hand cut and crafted utilizing premium grade stainless steel which accomplishes its sophisticated Òpiano blackÓ finish through a technique called PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) Coating. Also known as sputtering, this technique utilizes a vaporization process to create an atom-bonded, strong ceramic layer in order to achieve its stunning black stainless shine and built-to-last quality. The PVD ceramic layer is composed of abrasion-resistant material, ensuring that its pristine finish will be enjoyed for years to come. Experience powerful yet quiet ventilation while cooking with its 4-speed 400 CFM motor. Modern upgrades include built-in LED lighting for an illuminated cooking experience, and dishwasher-safe stainless steel baffle filters for easy clean-up. ZLINE hoods are ETL Listed and have one of the easiest installations in the industry. Includes two(2)-19 in. telescoping chimney pieces for approximately 8-9 ft. ceilings. ZLINE Range Hoods are designed to fit the majority of kitchens right out of the box. Some kitchens with shorter ceilings do need a shortening kit or an extension kit depending on ceiling height. All our stainless steel hoods come with two telescoping chimneys to ensure the perfect fit. For our Designer Series hoods, we provide a one-piece chimney that can be cut to size.
