Drolet Floor Protection Extension for Modular Floor Protection System AC02785
All solid fuel appliances should be placed on a non combustible surface to protect the floor from hot embers that could fall from the appliance during loading. This extension for floor protection meets the requirements of CSA B365 (Canada) and NFPA 211 (US). Here's a simple and safe solution to widen your AC02711 floor protection that will suit your larger freestanding wood or pellet heaters. This 46 3/4"W x 18"L panel is insulated with Micore® 300 (1/2" (13 mm)) with an R factor of 1.03. The R value of the floor protection must be equal or greater than that required by the manufacturer of the device.
