A Magnificent Two Herons Fountain measures 59 inches wide X 52 inches deep X 89 inches tall. Two larger then life Herons are depicted in a natural setting amongst the reeds by David Foundry. This foundry is recognized for the quality of their sculptures and their quality finishing. It is 100 percent cast in Lost Wax Bronze and artist assembled to create this major work of art. The finishing is with the most beautiful gallery quality finishing, utilizing Polychrome techniques, also referred to as enameling over bronze. This is one of the largest works in this type of gallery finishing. The item comes with an additional Lacquer protective topcoat, and while this gallery finishing will wear wonderfully with virtually no maintenance in interior use, outdoor use and depending on the environment may require the owner to maintain with approved topcoat protectant e.g. periodically spray with lacquer. The interior of sculpture has embedded copper tubing for fountain use and allows water from the Cranes beaks. Perfect for use in conjunction with a swimming pool or natural water pond lake or as a dramatic standalone sculpture. If recirculating water is desired, the pump and basin must be purchased separately and is not included.
